A New Chapter at Hambly & Woolley

Dear friends, colleagues, and clients,
Bob and I are delighted to officially announce new partners in Hambly & Woolley: Gord Woolley, Dominic Ayre and Andrew Ryther, who will be taking on the management of our firm.

As many of you know, Gord, Dom and Andrew have been Senior Associates in the studio for decades.

Gord, Barb’s brother, has been with H&W since day one, and has been invaluable to Bob and I as we established and grew the business. Gord, a Laurier business grad, has proven skills not only as a new business developer and project manager, but as a designer as well. That’s a lot of hats to wear.

Dominic joined H&W in 2000 (wow, where did that time go?) and remains as H&W’s incredibly talented, in-the-know, super energetic, Creative Director, designer and project lead. He continues to inspire the H&W team and is a leader in the Canadian graphic design community.

In 2009, Andrew came to work at H&W originally as a “temp.” But it wasn’t more than two weeks into his contract before Bob and I knew we couldn’t do without him. His digital expertise and solid project management skills are vital to so many of our clients today.

So as part of my next chapter, I will be stepping back from my day-to-day position at Hambly & Woolley to join Bob as a Partner Emeritus. I will, however, continue to work with clients in a senior role, as well as mentor the partners and our studio staff. I am grateful for all the friendships, and gratifying work that has resulted from over 30 years as a co-founder of H&W. Bob and I couldn’t be prouder of the fact that the firm, under the leadership of the new partners, continues to thrive because we all care about doing great work.

Thank you,

Barb
